FC Mont-Bruno soccer club
FC Mont-Bruno (FCMB) is a non-profit organization registered on February 18, 2010 under the Quebec business number 1166401852 whose mission is to promote and supervise the practice of soccer among the citizens of St-Basile -Le-Grand and St-Bruno-de-Montarville. Our promise is to enable players, referees & coaches of all ages and levels to live in a sustainable way their passion for soccer within a framework and infrastructure that promotes the sporting ideal
Since 2012, FC Mont-Bruno has been the biggest club in the South Shore Regional Soccer Association and is now the 3rd largest in Quebec in terms of registrations. The number of players is constantly growing for a total of 2,555 for the year 2017. The FC Mont-Bruno is the largest sports club on the South Shore of Montreal.
A large majority of FCMB players play in the recreational league, representing 76% of registered players. As for the competitive sector, there are 39 teams that proudly wear Club colors in various regional leagues. The officials of the FCMB also leave their mark with 92 referees in 2017, making the Club the largest in terms of the number of referees.
Since 2009, the Club has held an annual "Le Grand Défi du Mont-Bruno" tournament targeting categories U7 to U12 at both recreational and competitive levels. The number of teams participating in this tournament has grown by 10% per year for a total of 152 teams in 2017.
In terms of his community involvement, FC Mont-Bruno regularly participates in trips to Stade Saputo to encourage the Montreal Impact as a Club and to allow our members to see a professional team in action.
